Production of photopolymer printing plates

Photopolymer flexographic printing plates are made both by analog technology (with exclusion of negatives) and by Computer–to–Plate (CtP) technology using high-technology equipment of such known producers as BASF (Сombi F III), DuPont (Cyrel 1000), and Alpha (LaserGraver).

Owing to broad assortment of analog and digital plates, we have the opportunity to offer our customers printing plates with thickness from 1,14mm to 2,54mm, to print on film, paper and cardboard. Maximum format of fleksoforms is 920x1200mm.

At all stages of preparation and production of photopolymer printing plates, we use control and measuring instruments of such leading producers as X-Rite, Troyka System, Cretag Machbett.

The quality of produced plates meets all requirements of modern flexographic printing. In our company the quality of finished product is guaranteed by the quality management system of ISO 9001 standard. Every new batch of plates, going into production, is tested in all stages of technological process: exposure, washout, post- exposure.

Advantages of photopolymer printing plates, made by CtP technology:

• No problems resulting from gapping of film assembly (fotoform) in evacuated vessel and bubbling during exposure of photopolymer plates;

• No quality losses of plates owing to ingress of dust or other impurities;

• No shape deformation of printed elements owing to low optical density of film assembly (fotoform) and so called soft dot;

• Profile of printed element is optimal for stabilization of dot gain and exact color rendering;

• Range extension of tone rendering through stable reproduction of screen dots from 1% to 99%
